We have recently updated our website with great efforts to increase accessibility, and the data reflects that we have achieved a more accessible platform. However, we are continuing to test and improve in this area on a regular basis.

We are actively researching the most efficient and effective solution to resolve these issues, as we are aware of the confusion it can cause users relying on screen readers for information. - WCAG 2.0 A 1.2 Media Alternative

a. There are issues with the top navigation when tabbing through instead of cycling back to the close menu button, keyboard focus is given to elements behind the menu modal.
b. When trying to make a reservation, it is not easy to choose a date from the calendar. - WCAG 2.0 A 2.2.1 Timing Adjustable
a. The time limit for making a reservation is not read out by screen reader and does not seem to be adjustable. - WCAG 2.0 A 1.3.1 Info and Relationships
a. Some text needs to be labeled as a heading to provide a better experience for screen reader users. - WCAG 2.0 A 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks

a. There are several text links that use generic text. This is an unfortunate legacy of older site content, and we are working to rid our site of vague links and buttons. - WCAG 2.0 A 3.3 Input Assistance
a. Social links are not labeled properly.
b. When a reservation is made, no screen reader confirmation is given.
c. Unable to modify a reservation.
Action being taken
We are working with an external team to address these issues plus refining the site in other areas for accessibility. We plan to resolve the above issues by May 2025 and will retest for accessibility regularly.
